if the machine is reluctant to spin and evacuate the water, undo the cover and locate a clear plastic pipe that goes towards the bottom of the machine.
unclip it from the device it is attached to and blow in it to clear a possible blockage. when you feel you have un-blocked it, re-connect the tube and try again. hopefully it is fixed. This is a pressure valve that detects if there is still water in the drum before spinning and it will prevent a full spin if the tube is blocked
