how can we get the stereo to work

You need to leave the keys in the ignition with the stereo on displaying the error sign for about two hours. Then the four/ 6 dashes with come back and you can renter the code. You have entered the code incorrectly 9 times so it needs to be left for a long time. I had error 5 and it took an hour. Good luck. Not sure how to find the code tho... good luck
