how can I fix my hotpoint washing machine model WM36?

My hotpoint washing model WM36 displays fault E20 ten minutes into a cycle, then empties all the water, why is this, and what do I need to do or get to fix this problem

e20 is a faulty thermistor - the drum temperature sensing device. Prob needs replaced. check out www.2ndwave.co.uk/manual.html
