sprinter 208cdi will not start?

van will not start off key,but will bump in 2 seconds,omiscan gave fault code of injectors,changed them after 12 hours of painstaking removal,too no avail.....have now changed o rings in fuel line solonoid at rear of fuel rail.started on key ONCE,turned off engine and immediatley tried again on key.NO JOY.Will still bump in a matter of yards,fuel pressure is at 2950''hg.any help would be greatly appreciated

have you checked the vacuum system for leaks?cud b wrong but most merc diesel starting/stalling problems start there...

I own a mercedes star/wis computer so if you are local i could help you, failing that ring me with your chassis no and i can use wis (merc workshop manual) to guide you. Im a merc specailist so it shouldnt be too much of a problem.

cutterman the glowplugs are all sorted and no sign of them failing in the engine diagnostics fault codes on omiscan,surely if they were to fail the engine wouldn't bump start so easily

check glow plugs (4) of,?glow plug relay surely you have got some form of pre-heat device before you try and start engine even a glow plug light on dash panel

your cdi has a common problem check your battery is okay and your magneto if they are both okay seek prof help. :)
