Someone I work for has had a Password put on the Bios on a compact presario 2500 laptop and now we can't get into the computer. I have tried taking the cmos battery out with no luck. Compact want £150 just to look at it and say that they might still need to replace the mother board. Can anyone help
P.s laptop has no floppy drive so can't boot from that.
you can still create a boot disk using a flash drive.
Remember to put the flash drive as first boot option.
remember to download the rom bios firmware from manufacturer's website. hp.uk .
