The central door locking has failed and I cannot find the solenoid,
1. it is not overhead at the Mirror
2. It is not in the Handbrake housing.

there is a door locking solinoid in each door, the fuel cap and boot. The central locking control unit (ECU) can be found near the handbrake just behind the level control lever, prise off the plastic that holds the electric sunroof switch and you will see it there
