I had to change the battery in my renault megane 2001 and in doing so the cd radio has now asked for a code. i have the code but i am unsure how to type it in. whenever i touch anything including the dial on the volume panel beside the steering wheel i just hear beeps. the display only has code written on it and no digits beside it to indicate where i can type my code into.

add the code by using the buttons 1,2,3,4 on the radio in turn (press them multiple times to reach desired number).
Then when entered, hold the button on the bottom of the remote control stem (on the steering wheel) down for 3 seconds.
