How can I fix my Potterton Profile 60E boiler?

I have a Potterton Profile 60E. The boiler keeps kicking in on a regular basis although the thermostat is set very low and the room temperature is above the thermostat setting. What can cause this, please?

Thanks for the offer, Anna. However, the boiler has been checked and found ok.

Hello I am sorry I cannot help you to fix it but I you may be interested in replacing it. We are replacing our profile 60e in a few months as we are getting a rayburn all in one boiler. As far as I know it is in perfect working order and if you would be interested in having it I am sure we could sell it for a very reasonable rate. anna.leyland@gmail.com
