my son cleaned the eye & it still says no disk on my 7" polaroid portable dvd player.

Assuming that you have put the correct media back into the drive and not a poor DVD copy. I would have to say that it is beyond your repair and would need a specialist to repair it, and I suspect that they will advise you that it is beyond economical repair.
