riello burner not firing?

i recently ran out of oil, i then refilled, cleared the airlock, but now the burner is not firing, and there is alot of carbon around the photosensor, i also cleaned this but no luck! any advice please!

remove assembly and clean carbon from electrodes and check settings. also while you have the assembly out check to see if the nozzle is plugged. replace and reset if it fails to fire call for professional service as you may be adding oil to the pot each time you reset.

is it trying to fire.can you hear electrodes firing. if yes remove burner from boiler, carefully press reset button, look to see if oil is atomising, if no,oil pump is more than likely gone. note, all new riello oil pumps come with a g engraved into casing. very common fault with this type of burner.ps

Is it going to lock out? Have you bleed the pump? what noise is is making? Is the Motor spinning? when did you last service it?
