What type of printer do you have?
What sort of computer (pc, mac, portable?)

Is the printer switched on, paper loaded, lead to computer connected ok?

Are there any error messages on the printer, or flashing lights?
Does the printer try to print at all?

Are there any messages on the computer?

Any information would be useful

Cheers
