If you are familiar with the inside of the computer. First, unplug your computer. Then take off the side panel and look at the mother board. You should see a small battery about the size of a nickel. It is flat and silver in color. Make a mental note of its position in the slot. (Usually with the button side facing down) Gently pry the battery loose preferably with something non-metallic. It is a snap fit and should pop out easily. Leave it out for about 5-10 seconds and then snap it back in place in the same (button down) position as you found it. Replace the cover and plug the computer back in.
This little battery keeps the settings while the computer is turned off. By removing it the setting should also be removed and you should be able to boot normally. The only change you may notice is the the date and time have to be re-set. Hope this helps. If you are uncomfortable opening the case of your computer you can usually find someone that is familiar with this and can assist you. Sometimes the most difficult part is discovering how to open these new cases.
