motherboard?

hi, i,m running windows xp home addition sp2 and my motherboard is msi k7t266 pro 2 ver 2.0. if i wanted to change it and had all the components would i just simply take the msi 1 out and put the new 1 in. ani1 who wants to anser this would you please explain in detail what it would involve thanks very much.

You could just change it

but in some cases you have to configure the bios and if you have little knowladge of computers this could be hard


also in some cases the hardware could get damaged so if you are going to do this i would suggest making sure your grounded (because of static electricity) and muke sure you plug things incorrectly because this could also damage hardware.
