Replacing heater element on hotpoint WM53?

How do I access the heater element in order to replace it? Apart from the top panel and a small rear bottom panel none of the other facia panel seem removable (riveted).
Is the heater element above the lower concrete block i.e. do I need to remove that to get access?
I can't seem to find any assembly diagrams for it on the internet. Logo says it is a First Edition 1200 if that's any help.

Thanks Dan.
I have now discovered how to remove the control panel fascia which then gives access to the front panel retaining screws. However, I then need to remove the door seal in order to take this panel off (haven't tried this yet). It is not clear whether this will give access to the heater element but there is certainly something hidden behind there.
If the element is at the rear base of the drum then it sounds like I need to unbolt the concrete block weight. Is this normal?

heater located at rear base of drum. drill out rivets if necessary. Check out this site for spares : www.4directelectricals.co.uk
