I have an (old) Ariston ALD120 washing machine?

the (3) control buttons have stopped working. I opened up the component and took it apart to see that each (of the three) contact (rubber-like) layers were mechanically worn out. Q. Can I find some suitable replacement material to act as an electrical 'contact' surface to replace what seems to have worn out between the button and circuit board? Q2. where has the 'springiness/click' gone (when u originally press the buttons?) Q3. is the circuit board an Ariston part or does it come from, say GE?
Q4. is it a lost cause that simply needs replacement, and , if yes, where on earth? thank you.
