rattling engine and slugish transit 280 2002?

my transit as done 100000 miles and when ticking over it is very rattley engine it as also started to lose power over the last few months

rattling may be coming from defective-dual mass -flywheel ,if noise goes when clutch is operated this will be the problem.

check hydraulic tappets in ends of rockers, can get spongy. also timing chains can get slack.
