I too am having same problems, and have tried same fixes. Now whats happening is that each time I enter the 1st digit and press pre-set button 1 as directed, it locks me out all over again and I have to wait an hour to re-try. The radio had been replaced by the previous owner but theres no model number- it just says Rover radio cassette, dolby system on the front. Do i need to remove it to find out the model number?

with the rover radio you need to press the 1 preset button then use the radio tunning > buttons to select code digit, repeat this way using preset 1 to store code when finished

I have a similar problem with a Blaupunkt radio cd in a Rover 25 - but it just keeps saying wait 1 hour even after several hours, seems locked in that state?? Any ideas of how to sort that out please!!!

Hi Rick,

Probably, there is that text in your radio screen now:
CODE----, this is coming after that when you have been taken off the radio from your battery and the radio is taken back again. Now you can put the 4 digits in but there might be a security system on it. If you have been tried to put the digits in 3 times then the next text is coming on your radio screen: CODE wait. It means that you need to wait at least 1 hour (the radio should be turn on) until you get the same text again: CODE----. Then you can put your code in.

Hope, this will help you.

Best regards.
