Remove the old pump.
Cut off the impeller with side cutters or similar(the kit comes with a new one)
Pull off the old seal.
Clean the pump shaft.
Fit the new seal.
Fit the new impeller(easier said than done).Push on as far as possible by hand.Turn the pump(impeller up).Place on a hard surface.Tap the new impeller with a hammer(yes hammer)....gently...until it is fully on.It's not actually that fragile.

Its part of the drain pump itself you have to change the whole drain pump the seal doesnt come off on its own.

most pumps when the gland seal gos you just replace the whole pump assemble no worrying then for 12 months
