Yes, read my generic post and decide if you would like me to fix this for you..
By the looks of it, your mobile has a bootloader problem, many people believe that this can be fixed using your data cable and the sony ericsson update software to give the phone the newest version of software. However this rarley works, I'll explain..
Basically Sony Ericsson mobiles have 2 pieces of software installed on them to make them work..
The first is called the bootloader, this provides the mobile with the basic funtion of being a mobile and to be able to recieve calls..
The second part is the firmware, this provides all the functions of the mobile like making calls, sending sms messages and all the other fuctions of the phone you use all the time.
When you use the sony ericsson update software, this only updates the second part of the software (the firmware) and not the bootloader!
I believe the boatloader has become corupt in some way with your mobile which is usually noticable by when you turn your mobile on, the screen flashes on and off repeatadly or you get a constant white screen or some other similar effects.
Now the options available to fix this..
Well if the mobile is under warranty from a mobile phone shop you could try taking it back and getting them to do a repair under warranty, some say that they wont do this as the fault has occured because of a misuse of software (that is one reason ive heard) and then they givbe it you back still not working!
If you cannot do this, I myself have the software to reload the bootloader and firmware and would be able to do this for you in around 15 minutes, i cannot offer the software for download as this classed as copyright theft, but i would do this at no cost other than postage and packing costs of around £5.
You must note that any information stored on your mobile phones memory would be lost upon reloading the bootloader and firmware which includes mobile numbers, sms messages , photos, games etc.
If you want your phone repaired by myself, please drop me an email to drewishuk@yahoo.com and i will only do this for people in the United Kingdom!
Also note that if you do have a warranty on your mobile, this will be come invalid once the phone is reprogramed so its best to check if you can get it repaired under warranty first!
Anyway i hope this helps!
