How to fix the dial on my beko wma10w washing machine?

The middle of the dial on my beko wma10w is stuck in the out position, there is resistance on the dial anticlockwise but not clockwise so I'm not sure if it's being put on the right setting. Is there any way to fix this?

the knob has gone past itself and is now 180 degrees out.release the fascia and fit it back in the correct place (you will know its correct because the knob will push in and out if correct).common fault!!!
