take your bar cover off and remove the bar and chain. You will see the Drive sprocket. You need to remove the cover that covers this. You make need snap ring pliers and a screw driver. You for sure need to remove the "E" Clip on the end of the shaft. Then around the edges under the bar cover you will see torx head screws or flat head screws. Remove these between 4 & 6 of them. Towards the bottom of the saw is your pump. You will see a plastic gear with 2 plastic gears. A worm gear and straight gear. Make sure these are not stripped.
