How to fix my Hotpoint Aquarius 1000 de luxe WM22?

I've got a Hotpoint washing machine (model: Aquarius 1000 de luxe WM22) for more than 5 years. It stopped working since a couple of days ago. Washing process seems going (inc. Water feeding, draining, etc.). The problem I noticed is that the the tumble is not rotating at all at any stage during washing and it took much longer time than what it should be to finish the whole washing cycle before it broke down.

I wondered if there is any trouble shooting guide for this model.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

Almost certainly the carbon brushes, just normal wear. Very easy to replace. Explains itself when you have the brushes and replace.
Unplug the machine and take of the top lid (philips screwdriver, push back) and look at the front of the motor.
Unplug the two outer wires. Those are connected to the brushes (two brushes one wire to each), they have white cover.
Look at the sides. With a flat screwdriver push the latch that is to the back of the white brush cover and slide it out.
The rest is self explanatory.
