My Ignis adl 347 wont start. The pump runs for a short while then the start LED flashed on 4 times then pause the on four times etc etc.

Please can some one help.

Found this review as i to was having difficulty with this model. Opened the pump up and removed to small bits of plastic. Working like a dream now though both the hinges have now broken!

It sounds like the pump is jammed. To unjam the pump looks hard but is easy when you know how. Just remove the 4 torque screws on the front bottom of the dishwasher, you will need to remove the kitchen plinth to access this, the dishwasher does not need to be removered for this. Inside at the front you will see a pink and white plastic pump. The pump front unscrews anticlockwise. A small plastic tongue has to be bent slightly to unscrew. remove the obstruction and all should be ok.
