hi im just curious to find out how to open the filter in an electolux XL8 because my clothes dont seem to be washing properly and it doesnt seem to be spinning very well when load is finished the clothes are still very wet ?????

generally located behind a panel at the foot of the machine.Some are obvious like little square hatches and some are hidden behind the trim panel at the foot of the machine. Once panel is removed the filter will be seen. Its a circular fitting which generally unscrews in an anticlockwise direction.
