If stuff smells after coming out the washing machine its usually because theres stagnant water lying in the drum. This is caused by water falling back down drainhose because its not getn pumped out properly due to faulty pump or usually caused by ppl not having the bend in the hose high enough before entering the sink trap. This also allows dishwaterwater that drains from ur sink to creep back down the hose and lay in the drum- hence the smell. Just make sure that when machine is fully in, the hose goes straight up then goes through the cupboard next to it(usual setup). Ensure that the area where the w/m drainhose is connected to sinktrap is higher than the opposite drain run from the same trap so that when dishwater drains theres no build-up falling back towards the machine drainhose(it drains towards outside first before it can get a chance to go towards machine). Its also worthwhile checking the actual drain pipe run towards the outside stack to make sure that the run gradient complies with British Standards, ensuring wastewater drains quickly enough. I hope that this is helpfull, any further advice then can email me at m.okane@hotmail.co.uk.
