how can i fix my hotpoint dwf31 dishwasher?

my dishwater is working ok, except the water is cold, i suspect there is a heater element that needs replacing, but i don't know where to find it. any help would be much appreciated or any other comments as to what might be wrong

very difficult & expensive £115 for new heater & it's a pig to change. I used a bunch of tea spoons to extract it & it is hidden in the bottom behind all the panels.
