Rotel RA-214 hi-fi amp, trouble on one side?

I have been having a recurring problem with my amp which now seems to be here to stay. One channel, the right side, produces a horrible, throbbing, wobbly noise (at lower volume than the left) which is now so bad that I have resorted to mono. At first I thought a bass unit had blown so I opened the speaker cabinet but it all looks good, no holes or tears or loose wires. Then I started swapping components, wires, plugs, speakers etc., until I have now definitely established that it is the amp at fault and only on the right. The amp is set up for 4 speakers, two output pairs A and B (right and left on each), the same problem is on both rights. Can anyone advise or tell me where to take the amp for repair?

Anthony above, gave me an RA-214 that was down, 'farting' on bass notes (distortion) and cracking on the right. I simply re-soldered the entire circuit (twice!) and cleaned out all switches and pots. Fortunately, not an actual electronic fault, as such. I still have an RA-300, recently added to my collection was an RA-820A (used to own an RA-820BX as a teen, my god was that a good amp!) and an RA-400, plus a very poorly RA-611 in the attic! Oh, and a Sherwood, an ARCam Alpha 3 and a Yamaha cinema amplifier. And Yamaha sub. Lol.

Throbbing wobbly bassy noise is likely to be caused by the filter capacitors or reservoir capacitors no longer effectively filtering out nasties. This is no great surprise since electrolytic caps have a finite life anyway. They're probably just the two large 25V 6800uf caps that are attached to the inside of the front of the amp. BE CAREFUL to observe the polarity when replacing.

Hello friend, I have a collection of this amplifiers of rotel You can see it in http://www.rotel.galeon.com . I have two with the same system of amplification as U have.
The problem is a IC of final Stage of amplification, a IC SI-1020H.
This IC is not possible to find actually. Is an hybrid amplifier of SANKEN.

You see this information in the web. If U need more information my e-mail and msn is alquilersonido@hotmail.com

Is a great product, but only for a curious collection¡¡ Bye, and sorry with my english, i'm spanish.
