FIRST OF ALL MY DS(NOT LITE) HAS GOT A NEW BATTERY AND CHARGER AND THEY ARE OFFICIALLY FROM NINTENDO WHEN I PLUGGED THE CHARGER IN THE CHARGING LIGHT DIDNT COME ON I TRIED IT AFTER HALF AND HOUR AND IT DIDNT WORK TOO

hi there i think it could be the fuse inside the ds unit, your fuse may be blown, it happend to to mine, try and find F2 AND F1 (fuse one and fuse two) inside the console and if it looks blown then, try and resolder it, should work but doesent always work for every one!!!!!
