What is the best way to cut off or hem t-shirts when I don't sew?

My old t-shirts are too long. I want to cut them off, but know they'll roll up. What is the best way to cut them off evenly when I don't sew or own a sewing machine. Thank you!!!

cut them slightly longer than required so that you can make a hem, then use 'wonder web' you can buy it in most big supermarkets or craft type shops. It's like a double sided tape that works with the heat from your iron. The pack will contain instructions on how to use and it's quite straight forward. I do this on all my trousers.
