ok, so i am trying to sew, abut when the needle goes down into the fabric, there are no stiches staying behind. it is just making holes in my fabric. what am i doing wrong? how do i fix it?

Hello Sandra,
First make sure you have a new needle in the correct way round, if it still misses stitches then you will need to retime your machine, if you e-mail me I will attach timing instructions but let me know your make.
