When I try to load music for my ipod shuffle, nano or even my daughters barbie world mp3 player, I get a message that my usb thing is not recognized. Can I buy something simple to correct this or do I need to take the machine to a computer shop?

Hi just make sure your computer port is usb 2 & not usb 1 an earlier version
