Vauxhall Car200 stuck in safe mode, how do I reset it?

Can someone tell me how to reset my Vauxhall Car200 radio?, it is stuck in "safe" mode, and my handbook tells me I have to go to a Vauxhall agent to get it fixed, this will cost money. I'd like to do it myself, saving me money. Please help me

My Astra 1.6 just had its engine changed seems very sluggish to accelerate,Someone has just driven it and said they think the engine has gone into 'safe mode' and its only go's to 40
can any one help me ?
