Hi How can i fix my samsung YP-K5 mp3 player. On friday i spilt some water on it and now it wont work, tried charging it and nothing :( Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks, Emily :-)

hi, literally just 5 minuets ago i dropped my sister's play in my fish tank :0

It was on top of my pc then when i reached over to plug it in the pack pushed it into the fist tank. Tried drying it but it doesn’t work.
I will let you know if i can sort anything - if not it was only a 2gb player anyway. So i now know what she needs for Christmas.

i am the owner of a yp-k5 as wella nd recently mine was also damaged. the reason i do not know i suspect maybe perhaps some water got to it as well. anywayz my buttons stopped working and then radnomly started working again for a while then randomly stopped. when i called one of the places samsung placed on thier site as repair places they told me, they do not repair mp3 players they only do straight exchange.to do this you must be within the 1 year range warranty and must have the recipet from the store you orignally bought the player from. if you bought it off ebay you must get them to send you the oringal reciept otherwise theres nothing really samsung can do, they said that i can take my chances getting it repaired at a shop but that they will most likely screw it up further. so in short there is nothing really you can do to fix than taking it to a shop and take a chnace and see if it gets repaired or do a straight exchnage (call or check the samsung website for more info on that).
