Netaheat 6-10?

judging by the ever worsening noise the fan assembly on the girlfriends boiler is about to expire. In the old days I'd have undone the three screws and the three wires fitted a new one and put the case back on paying special attention to the seal - but now any diy is illegal - how do I find a Corgi fitter who won't look at it and condemm it out of hand just because it's old - or am I being a bit too cynical.

Did find a Corgi fitter to replace the fan, ordered and fitted next day. Delighted with service and no comments about how the boiler ought to be pensioned off. Boiler now amazingly quiet.

However, let's not pretend it's easy to find a Corgi fitter. Plenty in the book, lots on the Corgi web site but can you actually get one to reply to messages you leave them, no wonder lots of people end up in the hands of cowboys. I seem to recall the Corgi chap that fixed the cooker complained that most of the money went to Corgi for the admin & paperwork.

fitting a fan has never been legal.
do what everyone else does get a cowboy in no problem.
mind you you might be dead in the morning but your fan will work.

if you value your fan more than your life good luck.
