Very slow water intake in my Fisher & Paykel 608 washing machine?
The hot water intake was very slow but cold was ok. Now both are very slow. Supply taps, filters and hoses are ok. Intake solenoids seem to pass water only slowly. Are they a 2 flowrate solenoid for spray rinse or fill modes? What voltage(s) are they?
Problem fixed! Both solenoids replaced. The old ones had split diaphragms. The hot is an on/off, normally getting about 8V. The cold is proportional, using between 5-12V to get the right mixed temperature. Easy to fit!
