All of a sudden my factory CD player in 03 Toyota Tundra will not play. (burnt nor newly purchased music) Data shows on screen, the word PLAY, but nothing...after approx 30-60 seconds, it ejects on its own. Radio is working fine.

We have a 53 reg Toyota Celica with the same fault.
This is the second unit as the first was replaced under warranty. First lasted 2 yrs. Second lasted 6 months.
Is this a common fault with Toyota players?
I'd be happy to know how to remove it from the Celica so I can send it away to be checked over!
