How can i fix my television?

I need to fix my television and have been told that the 'DRY JOINTS NEED RE-SOLDERING'. What are these and where can they be found on the T.V. It's because the tv some times switches it self off and won't switch back on till it's moved or tapped on the bottom

VERY DANGEROUS!!! DON'T go in there with the brush with the set turned.
it may work ... it may just kill you too

maybe a pro might be able to work that way without killing him/herself, but it doesn't sound like you'd be well advised to do that.

Your choice in the end, but it's dangerous (IMO).

YOU CAN FIX THIS BY TAKING A PAINTING BRUSH AND SWITCH THE TV ON THE N REMOVE THE COVER AND RUB THE CIRCUIT BOARDS WITH THE BRUSH , DO NOT PUSH HARD, WHEN YOU COME ACROSS A DRY JOINT THE TV SHOULD COME ON AS THE JOINTS MEET , THAT IS HOW TO FIND THEM , BE CAREFUL

A dry joint is a solder joint that was either not correctly done at the beginning or has 'worn-out' perhaps say on the back of a moving part like a switch. Solder joints are everywhere inside a tv and it's very dangerous in there with very high voltages even when the box is off and disconnected from the mains.
