How to fix cold tap water?

Wa have an older home built in early 60's, one level. All the cold water taps run extremely slow with very little cold water pressure, have original lead pipes. How can we increase the water flow?

is the stop cock turned on full?
if it is check ur kitchen cold water tap turn that on full then and see what the pressure is like.
am asking this because i need to know what the pressure is like in your area
if it is slow then compare with a neighbours, if theirs is fast flowing and they still have the old lead pipework then not much you can do.
i can not see any benefit from changing pipework.
if your neighbours is new pipework then u will have to do the same but it will be very expensive.
call a plumber and they maybe able to give u a solution after inspection of your system.
