Is it possible to change the waste pipe on my dishwasher?

I have just bought a dishwasher from e-bay, it is an Ariston Advantage AF2oo, but when I was installing it the waste pipe snapped. I have my old machine, which is a Zanussi Electrolux DE 6850, and I wondered if it was possible to swap the pipes, they look like they come out, but don't know how to do it without damaging the machine further. Other than that the broken pipe can reach to connect to waste pipe under sink, but how could I attach a rubber bung to prevent leaks? Hope someone can help.

The waste pipe can be removed, but it will involve a certain amount of machine dismantling as it connects directly to the pump. Why not get a pipe extension kit with a connector that will allow you to achieve the length you want? B&Q, Wickes etc have what you need, its flexible plastic just like the original. Until you get your machine installed you'll have to close off the spout thats underneath your sink to stop water pouring out - I just use a temporary blob of silicone sealer for this.
