My Hoover Aristocrat Auto-washer 1000 washing machine (quite a few years old, inherited so not exactly sure) has stopped spinning. It seems to do the rest of the wash but just sits there during the spin cycle. It has sounded like it was going to take off when it spun for quite a while, and tended to waddle around on the spot, so not entirely surprised. Is there a cheap and easy fix?

your drum bearings have proberly gone and its taken the belt off the motor. not a cheap repair im afraid.
