CD ReWriter?

Can I add an internal ReWriter to my Viglen (Windows XP).It presently has a CD Rom outlet with space available below.
Perhaps it is a job for a professional !! .

yes you can install one yourself.You dont need a professional.But here are a few tips.Before touching anything inside the computer,Touch something metal to discharge the static.Then open the case but keep touching the metal every so often.justpoke out the plastic and metal plate which occupythe drive bay.Pull them out.Then slide the cd rewriter from the front of the pc into the bay.It will be a bit sticking but wiggle it in.then screw the drive into place using the screws provided .Then connect the spare power cable which has a plug with four holes and the wires which go:yellow/Black/black/Red into the the connector on back of the drive.Then you will notice a grey ribbon cable.Plug that into the middle of the back of the drive.Then boot up your pc.Install anysoftware that came with it aND YOUR OFF.Just one quick note:make sure the the cdrw drive is at the top.Makes things easier.If you need more help just email me at
