Hi,
I've got an Advent 7082 its 2 yrs old and worked fine until it started getting lines across the screen. Now my screen fades and turns completely white unless i hold it in a certain position as soon as i let go it fades again!
Do i need a new screen or is it just a dodgy connection?

Jane, the problem is the integrated graphics card on the motherboard. I deal with Advent,Medion,Packard Bell Emachine spares for the PC World products but unfortunately not the laptops. You need to locate a motherboard for it, I wish you luck.
