I installed a new PCI adapter on my Compaq presarrio. Afterwards my computer would not boot up.On a black screen in upper left corner message Non system disk or disk error relace and strike any key.I went back and checked all connections to hard drives and mother board.Even put old adaptor back in. Same problem. BOOTED FINE BEFORE NEW ADAPTOR.

usually does that when u have a floppy in, if so eject it and everything will load up properly, if not then sorry but cant help u without more info!
