Bosch SGS56E02GB/35 banging when filling with water?

My Bosch dishwasher SGS56E02GB/35 rapidly bangs when water fill solenoid operates, noise is coming from the solenoid being switched rapidly, problem has progressively got worse. I know that the solenoid is OK. Maybe it could be due to a level sensing fault? If this is the case, where is it? How do I strip the dishwasher down to gain access? I do have a technical background, but obviously not in dishwashers though! lol.

Thanks Glenn, just done it and it does run like a new machine, I can hardly hear it now! Once again many thanks.

hi
had that problem with ours paid about £100 for call out and sat and watched. There's a blockage in the inlet/outlet pipe bottom l.h. side. its corrugated hence traps all the chalk etc in the groves. Run m/c until it empties, switch off before it starts to fill. Open door to get acess to the screws that hold the side panels and remove. Once off you should be able to locate the pipe, easy to remove either spring clip or jubilee. you will see that its full of crud. Once cleaned it'll be like a new m/c. Best of luck
Glenn
