What does F-05 mean on my Ariston AIB16 Advantage?

F-05 keeps appearing on my display. Washing machine stops program at this point. Switching off and restarting cures problem 9 times out of ten. Fault message only occurs about 1 in fivr washes. What does it mean? Model is 2 year old Ariston AIB16 Advantage. Thanks

Tried that on mine - no blockage at all but still getting error message!! Checked all pipes including outlet into waste pipe and all is fine!! Any ideas people?

Just had the same fault with mine. Phoned Ariston and they informed me that it was a filter block. Remove the front panel at the bottom the machine and remove filter that is on the right, and free blocked filter. If like me it was a coin then this may have jammed in the bottom of filter so you cannot turn it all the way to remove. You will then have to disconnect the pipes and remove the whole housing to shake coin out. Sounds a nightmare but not that bad. Remember to put a small bowl under the filter to catch the water that is still in there. Hope this helps
