fault code H07?

panasonic dvd rv32 is diplaying fault code H07. what is wrong and how do i fix it?

J'ai retiré et remis la bande blanche (bleu à l'extrémité) qui est connectée sur la carte. I removed and replaced the white connector which is connected to the card. Result: no more problem

Got two of these: old, and dusty. Both did the H07 thing within days ... of each other. When you spin the mechanism by hand it does not seem to be stuck. But when you watch the player try to do its work (w cover off) you can see these do not spin, or too slow. The frives looked different from the top: maybe they already tried to fix something there?
A liberal dose of silicon-based oil got both working again. I recommend you test of course with a DVD you don't care about.

Thanks for all the tips everybody!

One or two drops of lightweight oil on the spindle shaft and work the shaft allowing the oil to penetrate down into the bearings. after that my dvd read vcd & mp3 but not read dvd.
please help me to solve the problem

I also tried "nudging" both a DVD in place, and the spindle itself with no luck. Finally I put 2 drops of 3-in-1 oil on a Q-tip, and rubbed some onto the side of the spindle I could reach, then I worked the DVD around a bit, and then it began spinning again.

I'd like to echo the advice given above: using the fingers to rotate the platter works. It spins clockwise.

I tried "nudging", without success. So before scrapping it (since it was not working anyway), I nudged the cr*p out of it! I turned it over, and smacked the bottom pretty hard several times in the area of the motor, popped in an old cd and rapped the spindle pretty hard while spinning. Viola! It works!

"Nudging" solution works fine for Panasonic DVD-RV22. Thanks to Jarret for easy fix. Nudge it once and it is working again on its own. I would add, just in case, that the platter spins clockwise, so try to nudge in that direction. I put a note with the spin rotation somewhere inside the case to remember next time, if it stops again. I'll keep an eye to see if eventually will need oil as suggested by Nelson Perez.

I took off the cover and spun the disc manually and all seems to be good, I turned it on and watch how the system turns the disc then used me finger to spin it a couple times. It just seems to need a nudge. I love this system as long as I dont see H07 again have had it for 3 nd half years, moved multiple times with it, great sound!

According to several other web based sources, the Fault code H07 indicates a Spindle motor problem. (The CD/DVD media is not spinning.)
Possible corrective action,
One or two drops of lightweight oil (silicon base may work better), on the spindle shaft and work the shaft allowing the oil to penetrate down into the bearings.

Nelson Perez, July 2005
That's the error code for faulty spindle motor drive. Suspect either drive IC, IC2501 or spindle motor itself. Cost wise, probably not worth repairing.
