How do I raise the feed dogs on my Joys Homemaker PF8001,
The button on the end of the machine pushes in and out, but the feed dog is in the lowered position and wont raise. I've taken off the plate and the feed dog moves freely enough. Any help much appreciated.

Hello Gary,
On the back of the button there should be a small circular raised shaped washer, you have to take the button off, squeeze the the mechanism so the washer compresses and then tighten the button back up.
