My Craftsman chain saw?

For Bob

Thanks Bob.... I did the lines like you said, and still not starting. I took the filter off and put a new one on, nothing. I check for spark and have a good spark so I'm getting fire to the plug. I replace plug with a new one....nothing. I'm getting gas to the carb. I have good compression......I'm baffled!
Fresh gas, new filter, new plug, and new lines. I only have about 4 hours running time(not at one time) on this saw.

I hate to say it but it is a craftsman. What brand of plug are you using? If your using NGK, get yourself an Autolite or Champion. I have seen new NGK Spark plugs fire outside the cylinder but they will not fire under compression. I didn't quite get the full question just your response to some work you did. Let me know what was wrong with it in the first place.
