Had the same on 1999 T 406
6 disc changer in the boot on the n/s
found no fuse for cd
but i removed the changer from car and where loom plug fits there is a metal cap with two screews and a earth lead, under this is the loom socket mounted on a small circuit board whitch has a ribbon feed into the main case, because of the mounting place this gets damp with condencation.
if you bend the two little tabs you can dismount the board and clean it with an old toothbrush and see if the board is damaged.
i repaired mine with couple of strands of copper wire coated in solder to brigde the brake on the board.
u have to carfully remove the coating to find some clean copper to solder to,and u will need a steady hand. then refit and return to car. Hope this helps
