my pc keeps rebooting itself?

everytime i log on pc reboots itself 3 or 4 times before it will finally let me log on what could the problem be i have windows xp cicero brand

from experience it sounds like your hard drive may be faulty.

There could be several reason for a computer to keep rebooting. One can be a dodgy reset switch. This can be disonnected from the motherboard. Generally the wires are blue and white and will go to the motherboard to two pins which will have 'reset' written next to it on the board. The other reason could be a hardware malfuntion. without more info on the problem its hard to tell
